A well-established refurbishment and building maintenance contractor is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead the delivery of high-rise residential cladding and façade remediation projects across the North of England.
This is a senior leadership role, responsible for overseeing multiple projects, ensuring safe and efficient delivery, managing operational teams, and driving programme performance across a portfolio of live works.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the operational delivery of high-rise cladding refurbishment and remediation projects.
- Oversee Project Managers, Site Managers and delivery teams across multiple sites.
- Develop, manage and monitor project programmes, ensuring key milestones and completion dates are achieved.
- Maintain strong client relationships and act as a key point of contact throughout project delivery.
- Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to the required quality standards.
- Support pre-construction and commercial teams with planning, resource allocation and project strategy.
- Drive operational excellence and continuous improvement across the business.
Requirements
- Proven experience in an Operations Manager, Contracts Manager or Senior Project Manager position.
- Strong background delivering high-rise residential cladding, façade remediation or external envelope refurbishment projects.
- Experience building and managing construction programmes for complex high-rise projects.
- Strong understanding and practical experience of NEC contracts.
- Previous experience working within a refurbishment, maintenance or specialist façade/cladding contractor environment.
- Excellent leadership, client-facing and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong commercial awareness and programme management capability.
