Your new company Hays Accountancy & Finance are partnering exclusively with a leading SME to recruit a hands-on and experienced Credit Controller to join their growing team in Tetbury, Gloucestershire. The role will report directly to the Financial Controller and be the sole Credit & Accounts Receivable Officer for the organisation. This is a fast-paced position seeking an experienced Credit Controller who really wants to add value taking a proactive approach to their duties. The role will be fully office based for the first 6 months and then offer a split of remote/office hybrid working once settled into the team and business. Your new role Your key duties will involve hands-on credit control, chasing aged debtors and dealing with accounts queries through a variety of methods, including telephone calls and emails. Manage outstanding sales balances that are due, confirming payments and ensuring contractual terms are adhered too. You monitor customer payment performance, set/monitor credit limits, investigate/resolve invoice disputes and update customer accounts using the company\’s operating system. You will carry out the invoicing for all the company\’s services along with related accounts receivable processes and be involved in weekly/monthly bank reconciliations when needed.
