Coventry, Rugby & Warwickshire | Full-Time & Part-Time Opportunities
Looking for a rewarding role where you can genuinely make a difference? Hays Education is currently working with a number of schools across Coventry, Warwickshire, and Rugby who are looking to appoint passionate and experienced Level 3 Teaching Assistants to support pupils with Special Educational Needs. We have opportunities available within specialist settings, supporting children and young people with a range of additional needs including Autism (ASC), ADHD, SEMH, speech and language difficulties, moderate learning difficulties, and complex needs.
Your Role
- Support pupils on a 1:1 and small group basis
- Adapt learning activities to meet individual needs
- Assist teachers in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons
- Support pupils' academic, social, and emotional development
- Help manage behaviour positively and effectively
- Build strong relationships with pupils, staff, and families
What We're Looking For
- Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
- Previous experience working with children or young people
- A positive, patient, and resilient approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Experience supporting SEN pupils is desirable
