Your new company: You will be joining a leading UK main contractor with a strong presence across the West Midlands, delivering high-quality design and build projects within the construction sector. With a substantial secured order book and a growing regional pipeline, the business offers long-term stability alongside the opportunity to work on complex and rewarding schemes.

Your new role: You will join the business as a Site Manager, responsible for the safe, efficient and high-quality delivery of construction projects across multiple sites within the region.

  • Manage and coordinate all on-site activities including labour, plant, subcontractors, staff and equipment.
  • Drive the construction programme proactively, identifying risks, opportunities and implementing corrective actions.
  • Lead, motivate and develop site teams, monitoring performance and fostering a positive working environment.
  • Resolve on-site issues promptly to maintain programme, quality and safety standards.
  • Maintain accurate site records, including daily logs, reports and site documentation.
  • Liaise with clients, consultants and stakeholders as required.
  • Support the Project Manager, taking direction and stepping up to lead site operations when necessary.
  • Coordinate procurement and material delivery with the buying and Surveying teams.
  • Take full accountability for site performance, health & safety, quality and programme delivery.
  • Ensure full compliance with health and safety regulations and internal safety standards.
  • Deliver daily coordination meetings with the supply chain on site.
  • Manage Temporary Works in line with design requirements and safety compliance.
  • Lead quality inspections and ensure standards are achieved and maintained across all site activities.

What you'll need to succeed: Proven experience working as a Site Manager for a main contractor, strong background in design and build projects, demonstrable experience managing health & safety, quality and site performance, experience managing Temporary Works, SMSTS, CSCS Card (Black or Gold preferred).
