Hays Education work with a large number of primary schools across Coventry and support Early Career Teachers looking to gain classroom experience through supply teaching, as well as those hoping to secure longer-term roles where they can complete their ECT induction.

Your new role
/n
Starting your teaching career is an exciting time, but choosing the right school can feel like a big decision.
/n Many ECTs start on supply, giving them the opportunity to build confidence, gain experience across different year groups and develop their teaching practice in a variety of settings. It can also be a great way to get your foot in the door with local schools and find an environment that suits you.
/n
Alongside day-to-day supply work, we can also support ECTs looking for longer-term placements, maternity cover and teaching opportunities in schools that are able to support them through their induction period.
/n
Whether you're looking for flexibility, experience or a longer-term route into teaching, we'd love to discuss your options.

What you'll need to succeed
/n
/n
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or expected QTS before September
/n
- Teaching experience gained through recent placements
/n
- Good knowledge of the primary curriculum
/n
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
/n
- A positive and proactive attitude
/n
- Willingness to learn and develop as a teacher
/n
- Flexibility and adaptability
/n
