This manufacturing business has a need for an experienced Cost Accountant to support the finance department in cost accounting and the preparation of the companies management accounts.
Your new role
- Providing Product Costing to Commercial and Operations Teams
- Investigation of Sales and Production Variances
- Maintain Standard Costs in ERP System
- Preparation of Sales Analysis
- Maintain and Reconcile Stock System
- Preparation of Management Accounts, Budgets and Forecasts
- Development and Maintenance of Financial Systems
- Providing Fixed Cost Analysis to Budget Holders
- Provide timely and accurate information both internally and externally
- Managing a team member
What you'll need to succeed
- CIMA Part Qualified minimum
- Experience of Microsoft Navision desirable
- Excellent IT Skills (Microsoft Office, SharePoint etc.)
- Knowledge of ERP Systems
- Extensive costing experience (CoGS/BoMS/Std Costing/Works Orders)
- Advanced Excel skills
