As a Support Driver, you will play a key role within Kier Group's Natural Resources, Nuclear & Networks team, contributing to the successful delivery of works on the South West Water contract. Your responsibilities will include:
- Transporting materials, equipment, and sign lighting and guarding (SLG) to support excavation activities related to water mains repairs, new connections, and other essential utilities projects.
- Ensuring that all operations are carried out efficiently and in full compliance with safety and quality standards at every stage.
- Ensuring street works compliance as specified in the New Roads and Street Works Act 1991.
- Completing job documentation using tablet-based systems.
- Maintaining site safety and traffic management compliance.
- Working collaboratively with digging teams and supervisors to meet deadlines.
Previous experience in highway or utilities reinstatement is essential. Full UK Driving Licence is essential. Desirable: CSCS card, EUSR Water Hygiene, NRSWA certification. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and deliver quality results.
