Your new company Our client is a highly regarded national law firm seeking a Complex EL/PL Solicitor to join its Manchester office. The firm has an established reputation within the insurance market and advises a broad range of insurer, corporate and public sector clients on complex casualty claims. Your new role You will handle a caseload of complex Employers' Liability and Public Liability claims, including litigated and higher-value matters. The role offers exposure to challenging work, sophisticated clients and excellent opportunities for long-term career progression. Key responsibilities : Managing a caseload of complex EL/PL claims from instruction through to conclusion. Investigating liability, causation and quantum issues. Preparing detailed legal advice and litigation strategies for insurer clients. Drafting pleadings, applications, witness statements and settlement documentation. Liaising with counsel, experts, insurers and insured clients. Negotiating settlements and attending court hearings where appropriate.
