Our client is a leading Yorkshire practice with expertise in all areas of dispute resolution and litigation. The firm has a national reputation for various legal disciplines, specifically for its alternative dispute resolution practice, offering both mediation and arbitration. They have worked on a range of high-profile claims in the High Court, as well as capably handling industry-specific disciplinary and administrative tribunals.
Your new role
A role such as this will see you immerse yourself into an exciting mix of work. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your career within a supportive, inclusive, and collaborative environment, working directly for a partner whilst assisting with the supervision of two junior team members. A varied caseload will include handling commercial litigation, mediation and arbitration, property and construction, sporting disputes, and reputation management.
What you'll need to succeed
The ideal candidate will be an experienced and competent commercial litigation solicitor with 2-5 years PQE. You should have the ability to generate new clients whilst providing excellent legal advice and service to current clients, representing both in court where necessary. You must also demonstrate the following:
- Good knowledge of CPR with proven technical ability and record of impeccable ethical and professional standards
- A proactive ability to prioritise and manage a complex and diverse caseload with attention to detail whilst delivering effective solutions under the pressure of deadlines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
