Your new role
As a Commercial Counsel, you will play a key role in supporting a fast-growing business unit, providing commercially focused legal advice across a variety of matters. Your responsibilities will include:
- Drafting, reviewing and negotiating a broad range of commercial agreements, including technology, licensing and partner contracts
- Advising on legal risk and providing pragmatic solutions to support business objectives
- Working closely with stakeholders across the UK, Europe and North America
- Supporting strategic growth projects, including integration work following acquisitions
- Contributing to improvements in contract processes and legal operations
- Collaborating with a global legal team on wider initiatives and projects

What you'll need to succeed
- Qualified solicitor with approximately 0-3 years' PQE (guideline only), with a preference for candidates who trained and qualified within a law firm environment
- Strong grounding in commercial contract law
- Experience drafting and negotiating commercial agreements
- Ability to provide clear, practical legal advice to non-legal stakeholders
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Desirable:
