Hays are working with a leading facilities management provider supporting critical defence infrastructure, and we're looking for an experienced Mobile M&E Engineer to join the team in Cirencester. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants a varied, hands-on role with real responsibility for compliance, technical support, and project delivery.
The Role
You'll play a key part in ensuring safe, compliant and efficient delivery of engineering services across site. This is a mobile position where you'll be supporting both day-to-day maintenance and wider project work.
Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering responsive maintenance and planned and technical support
- Carrying out and reviewing Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS)
- Supporting and supervising engineers and subcontractors on site
- Providing technical guidance to stakeholders and resolving issues proactively
- Assisting with project delivery and identifying improvements across the estate
- Supporting compliance, safety, and operational standards at all times
What We're Looking For
- Fully qualified Electrical or Mechanical Engineer
- Strong experience working under Safe Systems of Work (JSP375 desirable)
- Experience supervising or supporting engineers on site
- Confident working independently across multiple locations
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Full UK driving licence
