Hays Senior Finance is working with a global company who are looking to recruit a qualified Finance Manager. The company has a £500m+ t/o across a number of different countries as well as five UK locations. They have a number of divisions and have grown successfully via acquisitions and developing into new markets. Due to continued growth they are looking to appoint a technically strong accountant to take responsibility for a key division.

As Finance Manager, you will oversee financial operations and ensure financial governance across your defined division, which has its own P&L and Balance Sheet. As Finance Manager, you will report to the Group Financial Controller and work closely with both divisional and central Finance teams to provide strategic financial guidance, maintain accurate financial records and oversee accounting operations. You will manage a developing finance team whilst utilising the processes and resources of the central Finance team. As a qualified accountant, you will comply with IFRS accounting standards and work closely with external auditors.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Lead on divisional statutory reporting, forecasts, and financial performance, ensuring accuracy and completeness
  • Overseeing GL integrity, ensuring strong financial control and cash flow accuracy
  • Maintaining robust financial controls ensuring high-quality financial reporting
  • Prepare and review of internal and external reporting, including statutory and management financial statements.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax, and local regulatory requirements
  • Partner with divisional management team to support strategic initiatives and contribute to decision-making through financial insight.
