Your new company are a leader in their field, based in Nantwich and are looking for a Financial Controller to join their team on a permanent basis. Lead the preparation of annual budgets, forecasts and long-term financial plans for the site. Produce accurate monthly management accounts, reporting packs and insightful variance analysis. Monitor costs, standard costing, inventory valuation, labour efficiency and overhead absorption. Partner with the site leadership team, providing commercial insight to support operational and strategic decisions. Identify financial risks, opportunities and cost-saving initiatives to improve profitability and performance. Manage capital expenditure reporting, investment appraisals and return-on-investment analysis. Maintain robust financial controls and ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies and statutory requirements. Coordinate internal and external audit activity and support year-end reporting. Work closely with production, supply chain and engineering teams to improve inventory accuracy and working capital. Support continuous improvement projects, KPI reporting and the development of financial systems and processes. ACCA/ CIMA qualified Strong experience in a engineering finance or cost accounting role. Strong ERP and Excel experience Effectively manage and lead a small finance team A commercially focused approach and the ability to turn complex data into clear, practical insight.
