The organisation is seeking an experienced and strategic Head of Assets and Development to lead the effective management, development and optimisation of its property portfolio.
Your new role
Reporting directly to the COO, as the Head of Assets and Development, you will have overall responsibility for the strategic and operational management of the organisation's property assets. This will include leading and delivering the organisation's asset management strategy to ensure long-term financial sustainability, overseeing property development and regeneration projects including working with external contractors, managing acquisitions, disposals, lease events and valuations. As part of the role, you will also be responsible for line managing two individuals and will contribute to wider organisational strategy as a member of the senior leadership group. This is a full-time opportunity based on a 35 hour working week. Hybrid working is available.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful for this role, you will be educated to degree level or professional qualification in a property related field. You should have significant experience in land, property, asset management or development and have experience of managing complex commercial deals and leading property transactions. In order to be successful for this role, you should have experience managing and leading people and be comfortable balancing commercial objectives with organisational objectives. A driving licence and access to a vehicle is required for work purposes.
