An opportunity has become available for an experienced Multi-Trade Carpenter to join a busy social housing repairs team working across occupied properties in the Northampton area. The role involves carrying out a wide range of carpentry repairs along with associated multi-trade tasks to ensure homes are maintained to a high standard.
Your new role:
- Carry out day-to-day carpentry repairs in occupied domestic properties.
- Complete associated multi-trade tasks such as basic plumbing, patch plastering, tiling, and minor decorating where required.
- Work professionally and respectfully within tenants' homes.
- Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
- Maintain accurate records of completed works using the organisation's systems.
- Represent the service positively and provide excellent customer care.
What you'll need to succeed:
- Minimum 2 years' experience in domestic carpentry or multi-trade repair work.
- Experience working in occupied social housing properties is highly desirable.
- Strong carpentry skills with the ability to complete additional trades to a competent level.
- Full UK driving licence (essential).
- Good communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
- Ability to work independently and manage your own workload.
