Your new role
As an Assistant Accountant, you'll be a key member of the Finance Team, supporting the day-to-day running of the accounts function while contributing to accurate financial reporting. This role offers a strong balance of core transactional duties and exposure to management accounts within a stable, well-structured business.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing accounts payable, including processing invoices, reconciliations, and supplier payments
- Daily treasury duties, posting and reconciling bank transactions
- Preparing quarterly VAT returns
- Assisting with the preparation of management accounts and financial reports
- Supporting the maintenance of accurate financial records and controls
