Your new role: As Senior Estimator, you will lead the preparation of competitive tenders across a varied portfolio of civil engineering and groundworks schemes. You will produce accurate first-principle estimates, review drawings and specifications, manage subcontract enquiries and develop clear, commercially aligned tender submissions. The role utilises Conquest or similar estimating software, supported by digital measurement tools, with a flexible approach to tender production depending on client or framework requirements. You will work closely with pre-construction, commercial and operational teams to support bid strategy, value engineering and risk assessment.
What you'll need to succeed:
- Strong background in estimating within civil engineering, groundworks or infrastructure.
- Ability to price from first principles and interpret complex drawings, BOQs and specifications.
- Experience working on infrastructure, highways, commercial, industrial and residential projects.
- Confident using Conquest or similar estimating software and digital take-off tools.
- A collaborative mindset with the ability to build strong rapport within a close-knit team.
