Hays are now looking for a Business Analyst for one of our local clients: £430 p/d Inside IR35 1/2 days a week onsite, the rest is WFH Location is Glasgow Must have financial services experience We are looking for an experienced Technical Business Analyst to support a strategic implementation and wider Middle Office transformation programme.
You'll work closely with business and technology teams to analyse processes, define requirements and support the delivery of scalable solutions across investment operations.
What You'll Be Doing Analyse and document AS-IS and TO-BE business processes across the Funds Middle Office.
Gather, define and document business, functional and technical requirements.
Create process maps, data flows and system integration documentation.
Work with Developers, Architects and vendors to define solution designs and technical specifications.
Assess the impact of changes across business processes, data flows and system integrations.
Support data mapping and integration design across APIs, messaging platforms and batch processing solutions.
Facilitate workshops with stakeholders across Operations, Technology, Compliance and third-party vendors.
Support SIT and UAT activities throughout the project lifecycle.
What We're Looking For Proven experience as a Business Analyst or Technical Business Analyst within Financial Services.
Strong understanding of Funds Middle Office and trade settlement processes.
Experience working within Investment Management, Asset Management or Capital Markets environments.
Experience analysing system integrations, interfaces and data flows.
Knowledge of APIs, middleware, messaging technologies and batch processing.
Strong SQL and data analysis skills.
Experience producing process maps, data mapping and technical documentation.
Comfortable working with Developers, Architects and technical delivery teams.
