A growing and highly regarded accountancy and business advisory practice based in Greater Manchester is looking to appoint an experienced Bookkeeper to join its expanding team. Supporting a diverse portfolio of SME clients across a range of sectors, the business provides outsourced bookkeeping, management accounting and finance support services. As a Bookkeeper, you will manage your own portfolio of clients and become a trusted extension of their finance function. This is a varied, hands-on position where you will work closely with business owners and operational stakeholders, providing accurate financial information and helping clients gain a clearer understanding of their finances. For some clients, you will act as their primary finance contact, building strong relationships and supporting them with day-to-day financial management and decision-making. Managing bookkeeping activities for a portfolio of SME clients. Completing bank reconciliations and maintaining accurate financial records. Supporting clients with cash flow management and financial administration. Building strong client relationships and acting as a trusted point of contact. Using cloud-based accounting systems including Xero and Sage. This role offers the opportunity to work across a wide range of businesses, giving you exposure to different industries and the chance to play a key role in helping clients achieve their goals. To be successful in this role, you will have proven bookkeeping experience and enjoy building relationships with a variety of clients. AAT qualification or be qualified by experience. At least three years' experience in a bookkeeping position. Experience using accounting software such as Xero and Sage.
