Job Description An exciting opportunity for an Assistant Accountant to join a growing finance team and support financial reporting, controls and month-end activities. If you are AAT qualified with experience as an Accounts Assistant or a Senior Finance Assistant, you could align perfectly with this role. Experience across the board with accounting, reconciliations and month-end support are important areas that you will require experience in. This is a 6-month temporary assignment. Balance sheet reconciliations Assisting with management accounts preparation Fixed asset accounting Supporting audit requests and finance projects AAT qualified or actively studying ACCA/CIMA Previous experience as an Assistant Accountant or Senior Finance Assistant Confident with accruals, prepayments and reconciliations Experience producing elements of management accounts Strong Excel skills, including lookups and data analysis Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment and employment business for the supply of temporary workers.
