A growing and well-established business in Bristol is seeking an experienced Interim Finance Operations Manager to provide leadership across its transactional finance function during a period of business transformation and continued growth. Reporting directly to the Head of Finance, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day running of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Credit Control and wider finance operations, whilst driving process improvements and supporting key operational projects. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Finance Operations professional to join a fast-paced environment where you can make an immediate impact. Lead and develop a transactional finance team covering Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Credit Control Ensure all finance operations are delivered accurately and on time Review and improve existing finance processes, controls and procedures Partner with stakeholders across Finance, Operations and Commercial teams Drive improvements in cash collection, debtor performance and supplier management Support ongoing finance transformation and systems improvement projects Manage escalated finance queries and provide operational leadership across the department Previous experience within a Finance Operations Manager, Transactional Finance Manager or Shared Services leadership role Strong knowledge of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Credit Control functions Experience managing and developing finance teams A track record of improving finance processes and operational performance Experience working with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Dynamics 365, NetSuite or similar Finance transformation or change projects System implementation or process improvement initiatives Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment and employment business for the supply of temporary workers.
