The firm is well known for combining technical excellence with a genuinely supportive, inclusive and flexible culture.
Your new role involves joining a busy and expanding Employment Practices Litigation team within the wider Insurance group, working closely with experienced partners and lawyers on a varied and high‑quality caseload. The role will involve defending employment‑related liability claims, handling matters both pre‑ and post‑litigation, and advising insurers on policy coverage issues, including employment liability and wider management liability policies. You will act for the majority of leading professional indemnity insurers, as well as directly for insured businesses ranging from SMEs to large corporates, with claim values from tens of thousands to multi‑million pounds.
In addition to managing your own caseload, you will:

- Experience managing Employment Practices liability or employment‑related claims (desirable but not essential)
- Sound knowledge of employment law and legal procedures
- A commercial, solution‑focused approach and strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills and confidence dealing directly with clients
