Your new firm
Our client is seeking an experienced and driven Senior Claims Handler to join their growing Financial Lines team. This fully remote role offers the opportunity to work on a diverse and complex caseload, with a particular focus on Professional Indemnity (PI) and Cyber claims. You will play a key role in managing claims from notification through to resolution, providing strategic input, and delivering exceptional service to clients across a broad range of sectors.
Your new role
- Handle a portfolio of complex insurance claims from notification through to resolution
- Investigate, evaluate, and negotiate claims in line with policy terms and regulatory requirements
- Liaise with clients, brokers, insurers, and legal teams to ensure effective claims handling
- Provide technical guidance and support to junior team members
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records on all claims
- Identify potential risks, trends, and opportunities for process improvement
- Ensure compliance with FCA regulations and internal policies
What you'll need to succeed
- Proven experience as a Claims Handler, with significant exposure to complex or high-value claims
- Strong knowledge of insurance principles and claims processes
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment while maintaining high performance
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Experience mentoring or supporting junior staff is desirable
