The predicted salary is between 27 - 31 £ per hour.
Hours: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM (Monday to Friday 37.5 hours per week)
Dates: asap - 2 months (Temporary Contract, will be reviewed after 2 months)
Pay Rate: between £33 to £38/hr PAYE or umbrella (no limited companies)
Your new role:
- Undertake physical and mental health assessments for service users and ensure appropriate sign posting/referral to primary care or appropriate secondary health care services for identified health issues.
- To undertake Nurse Alcohol Assessments and determine safe detoxification.
- Assist in the titration process for opiate service users.
- To provide screening for BBV, through dry blood spot testing and support to access Hep C treatment.
- Offer wound care assessment and basic wound dressing to service users.
Essential Qualifications and Experience:
- Current NMC registration.
- Sound and demonstrable knowledge of harm reduction and health promotion interventions.
- Previous experience in a Substance Misuse Nurse role in a Drug Treatment service, Forensic or Prison.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
