The Opportunity
Hays is working with a leading facilities management provider to recruit an experienced Electrical Engineer. This is a client-facing role within a high-performing team, maintaining critical electrical systems across two sites. You'll be working on a mix of commercial, technical and accommodation buildings, ensuring assets are safe, compliant and fully operational.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
- Respond to reactive maintenance call-outs
- Complete electrical compliance testing
- Undertake minor electrical installation works
- Accurately record work using a digital tablet and reporting system
- Participate in an out-of-hours on-call rota
- Travel between sites using company vehicles where required
What You'll Need
- City & Guilds Parts 1 & 2 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent)
- 2391 Testing & Inspection qualification
- Proven experience in electrical maintenance within a commercial environment
- Strong understanding of health & safety, supported by a relevant qualification
- Excellent communication skills and a professional, client-focused approach
- Desirable (but not essential)
- Authorised Person (AP) or Authorising Engineer (AE) experience
- Fixed wire inspection experience
- PASMA and/or IPAF certifications
