Hays Education is proud to be working in partnership with a highly regarded and welcoming secondary school with a sixth form, seeking to appoint an exceptional Head of Maths on a permanent basis from September. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Maths teacher or current middle leader looking to take the next step in their career within a supportive and ambitious school community.
The Role
As Head of Maths, you will lead a committed department, driving high standards of teaching and learning across KS3, KS4 and KS5. You will play a key role in shaping the curriculum, supporting staff development and ensuring excellent outcomes for all pupils. You will inspire both students and colleagues, fostering a love of Mathematics while promoting confidence, resilience and problem-solving skills across the school.

- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - essential
- Has experience teaching Maths across KS3, KS4 and ideally KS5
