Your new role
/n From September, the school requires a dedicated and resilient Teaching Assistant to provide full-time support for a Year 6 pupil with SEMH needs. The pupil has a history of challenging behaviour and will require consistent, proactive support to help them successfully engage with learning and school life.
/n
You will work closely with the class teacher, SENDCo and wider pastoral team to implement behaviour strategies, build positive relationships and provide a stable, supportive presence throughout the school day.

What you'll need to succeed
/n
/n
- Recent experience supporting children with SEMH needs
/n
- Strong behaviour management skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure
/n
- A resilient, patient and consistent approach
/n
- Experience working with pupils who display challenging behaviour
/n
- The ability to build positive, trusting relationships while maintaining clear boundaries
/n
- A passion for supporting vulnerable children to achieve positive outcomes
/n
