A well-respected special school in the north Wolverhampton area, close to both Bushbury / Low Hill and easily accessible from Wednesfield, Willenhall and Fordhouses, is looking for a committed full-time Teaching Assistant to join their team.

The school supports pupils with a range of special educational needs, including communication difficulties, developmental delay, autism (ASD), social/emotional needs and pupils who benefit from consistent structure, routine and patient support.

This is a general TA role, working flexibly across different classes depending on daily needs, offering a fantastic opportunity to gain broad experience across the school.

The Role
  • Full-time hours, Monday to Friday
  • Supporting pupils across a range of key stages
  • Mixture of classroom support, small-group work and occasional 1:1
  • Helping children stay engaged, confident and motivated
  • Supporting pupils with SEND including ASD, ADHD, SEMH and learning needs
  • Assisting with routines, behaviour support, resources and general TA duties
  • Working collaboratively with teachers and support staff
