Role: Early Years Teaching Assistant (Special School). Special schools are increasingly seeking Teaching Assistants and Nursery Nurses with Early Years backgrounds, as your skills in child development, communication, routine and play-based learning are essential for children with additional needs.
You will be supporting pupils with:
- Autism (ASC)
- Speech, Language & Communication Needs
- Social, Emotional & Mental Health needs
- Developmental delay or complex needs
No previous SEND or school experience is required - Early Years experience is highly valued and transferable.
Working Hours - Term Time Only Monday to Friday 8:30am - 3:30pm. Full-time positions available. Part-time roles available (within 8:30am-3:30pm hours). No shifts, no evenings and no late finishes. This makes the role ideal for those seeking a healthier work-life balance compared to private nurseries.
