The team advises vulnerable individuals, their families, trustees, beneficiaries and professional advisers on a broad range of matters arising from catastrophic personal injury and serious brain injury claims, often involving substantial compensation awards. Working within a collaborative and supportive environment, the team is known for building long-term relationships with clients and delivering highly personal, client-focused advice. Your work will include drafting Court of Protection applications and witness statements, assisting with OPG reporting requirements, liaising with case managers and healthcare professionals, and advising on a wide range of financial management, welfare, capacity, care funding and benefits-related matters. Depending on experience, you will have the opportunity to manage your own caseload with increasing autonomy, supervise and mentor junior team members, contribute to team development initiatives and play an active role in business development activities. You will be a qualified Solicitor in England and Wales with Court of Protection experience gained within a recognised private practice team. You will have experience managing Deputyship and/or Personal Injury Trust matters and be confident building strong relationships with clients, families and professional contacts.
