Monday-Friday days: 40 hours per week - Flexible

Your new role:

You will be joining a well-known and respected manufacturing business who are seeking an Engineering Stores co-ordinator to join them due to their ever-increasing workload. The Engineering store's co-ordinator will be responsible for arranging the store's department, working with the engineering teams and senior stores' person in making sure stock is available for manufacture, ordering of parts and logging all movement.

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Receive, check, and record deliveries of parts, materials, and consumables
  • Accurately log and label stock items in the stores' management system.
  • Issue components and consumables to engineers and technicians as required
  • Maintain stock levels and support the reordering process to prevent shortages.
  • Assist in kitting up parts for builds, race events, or testing programs
  • Prepare and pack equipment, tools, and spares for race or test events.

This is just a summed-up list, and other duties will be required.

Skills & Experience required:

  • Previous experience in a store's environment within manufacturing, engineering or production.
  • Experience with bills of materials or equipment.
  • Strong organised skills and attention to detail
  • Competent using inventory management systems and Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
  • Good communication skills and ability to work effectively within a small team
  • Physically fit and capable of manual handling (with appropriate training).
