We are working with an established organisation to recruit a Management Accountant to join their UK finance team. This role offers broad exposure across financial accounting, payroll, VAT and process improvement, with the opportunity to work closely with senior stakeholders.
Your new role
- Purchase ledger processing and expense management
- Fixed assets, leases and intercompany accounting
- Month-end close, reconciliations and journal postings
- Monthly payroll processing and HMRC reporting (PAYE, NI, P11Ds, PSA)
- Preparation and submission of VAT returns
- Supporting audits, financial controls and compliance
- Revenue invoicing support and software cost monitoring
- Financial analysis, reporting and ad-hoc projects
What you'll need to succeed
- Experience in a management or financial accounting role
- Knowledge of payroll, HMRC and VAT
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
- Advanced Excel and reporting capability
- Part-qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) or equivalent
