Your new company is an academy within a large trust of schools based in CV9, looking to appoint an HR Administrator to support their HR Team on a temporary basis across three of their sites.
Your new role is a 10-month contract until March 2027. The cover is Monday to Friday, term time, 8.30am - 3pm. As an integral member of the HR team, the post-holder will assist the Regional HR Business Partner, taking responsibility for HR administration within three academies. The role is hybrid with travel to two other locations - Stoke-on-Trent and Newcastle-Under-Lyme.
- Support recruitment activity across the setting, working with Recruitment Coordinators where required.
- Maintain accurate employee information across HR systems, including data entry, routine and ad-hoc reporting, and supporting the annual data cleansing process.
- Ensure colleagues and line managers can easily access and follow ATT HR policies and procedures.
- Oversee the administration of the probation process.
- Assist in managing the holiday booking process for permanent staff.
- Liaise with Payroll to ensure all new starters, leavers and contractual changes are processed correctly.
- Produce HR correspondence such as contract variations, maternity letters and holiday entitlement letters using standard templates.
- Minute taking at formal HR meetings, including disciplinary, capability and grievance hearings.
- Monitor fixed-term contracts and ensure timely follow-up actions.
Previous experience in an HR or administrative role is required, along with a driving licence and strong IT skills, including experience working with HR systems and Microsoft Office.
