Step into a dynamic role within the Construction Consultancy team, based in central London, and take on a diverse portfolio of professional and project work spanning investors, lenders, occupiers, developers and the public sector. With a broad client base comes the opportunity to travel across the UK, Europe and beyond, working across a wide spectrum of property types.

This position offers the chance to bring around two to five years of assistant building surveying experience, post-qualification to the forefront, driving operational excellence and exceeding client expectations. The role involves taking the lead on complex projects - shaping strategy from the first client conversation through design, procurement and contract delivery - as well as delivering due diligence and consultancy advice.

Join a vibrant team with a strong social spirit and a culture of support and growth. Clear pathways exist for career progression and internal promotion, bolstered by collaboration with specialists in investment, planning, development and regeneration, and property management.

As one of the UK's largest multidisciplinary property consultancies - with more than 1,350 professionals in 12 regional offices - this is an opportunity to thrive within an organisation committed to delivering innovative, strategic property solutions across every sector.

Step into a hands-on role within the Building Consultancy Business Unit and gain exposure to a high-calibre client portfolio and varied instructions across sectors. Expect a balance of professional and project work, ideal for someone with 2-4 years of experience in building surveying who has already covered a solid mix of core duties - dilapidations, party wall matters, contract administration, residential and repair schemes.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Administering both small and large-scale contracts
  • Leading and supporting project management and monitoring
  • Conducting building surveys across diverse property types
  • Delivering technical due diligence for acquisitions and disposals
  • Managing party wall matters
  • Preparing and advising on planned maintenance programmes

This is a springboard for those ready to level up their career in a thriving, team-focused environment.

To thrive in this role, a strong track record of working with commercial (office, industrial, retail) and institutional-grade residential properties is essential. Success will come from being deeply familiar with a multidisciplinary Chartered Surveying environment and bringing sharp technical skills together with solid commercial judgment.

Key strengths include:

  • A client-first mindset, with a drive to deliver value
  • Initiative, ambition, and the ability to inspire and support others
  • Strong leadership and team collaboration skills
  • Confident, effective communication
  • A keen eye for commercial opportunities
  • Ease working across multiple disciplines and service lines

The role is centred on nurturing established client relationships while actively identifying and developing new business opportunities through networking and sector engagement. Expectations are high. This is a space where only top-tier advice and results will do. Be ready to showcase experience and achievements that reflect the ability to operate at the highest professional standard.
