Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of work, they are actively seeking an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join their Central region team. This is a full-time permanent position based out of their Tamworth office with hybrid and flexible working.
Your new role
As an Assistant Quantity Surveyor, you will support the commercial management of a diverse portfolio of civil engineering and infrastructure projects from contract award through to final account. Working closely with the Commercial Manager and experienced Quantity Surveyors, you will be involved in:
- Assisting with cost management, forecasting and budget control
- Preparing valuations, applications for payment and financial reports
- Supporting subcontractor procurement, administration and account management
- Monitoring project costs and identifying opportunities to improve commercial performance
- Assisting with contract administration and change management
