Hays Non-Qualified Finance are currently recruiting for an Assistant Finance Manager opportunity with a well-established organisation based in Haverfordwest. This role reports into the Finance Manager / Head of Finance and plays a key part in supporting the financial performance of a busy operational environment. It offers excellent exposure across core finance activities, with the opportunity to get involved in both day-to-day finance operations and wider process improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities:

  • Supporting day-to-day finance operations and ensuring accurate processing of transactions
  • Inputting and checking timesheet data while following up on outstanding submissions
  • Assisting with payroll tasks and general support to the wider finance team
  • Maintaining accurate financial records in line with internal procedures
  • Preparing and issuing invoices and resolving related queries
  • Updating systems with project costs and revenue information
  • Supporting credit control by monitoring and following up overdue balances
  • Assisting with month-end processes, including reconciliations and audit support
  • Identifying and contributing to improvements within finance processes
