Your new role
Reporting to the Finance Director, you will be responsible for:
- Supporting the production of monthly management accounts and financial reports
- Assisting with budgeting and forecasting processes
- Providing variance analysis and commentary on business performance
- Supporting operational managers with financial information and reporting
- Producing KPI reports and performance dashboards
- Identifying trends and providing actionable financial insight
- Assisting with month-end close activities, including accruals and prepayments
- Supporting business case preparation and financial modelling
- Monitoring departmental expenditure against budget
- Working with non-finance stakeholders to improve financial understanding
- Assisting with continuous improvement projects across finance and operations
- Supporting year-end and audit processes
What you'll need to succeed
- AAT qualified or studying towards ACCA, CIMA or ACA
- Previous experience in management accounts, financial analysis or business partnering support
- Strong Excel skills, including Pivot Tables and financial modelling
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Confident communicator with the ability to build relationships across the business
- Commercially aware with an interest in driving business performance
