Your new role
- Conduct statutory audits for corporate clients both on-site and remotely
- Lead larger and more complex audit assignments
- Supervise audit teams and ensure compliance with procedures
- Support managers and partners on various projects
- Mentor and oversee junior staff
- Build and maintain strong client relationships
- Ensure smooth client interactions and service delivery
- Prepare work for managerial or partner review
- Identify and resolve technical or client-specific issues
- Potentially manage a small client portfolio
What you'll need to succeed
- ACA or ACCA qualified, or part-qualified with relevant experience
- Experience in statutory audits, ideally including group audits and consolidated financial statements
- Full UK driving licence and access to a car (preferred but not essential)
- Strong organisational skills and ability to manage time effectively
- Capable of working independently and collaboratively
- Excellent interpersonal skills and client rapport-building ability
- Professional, discreet, and client-focused
- Familiarity with automated audit software and digital accounting/tax tools
