Your new company is a well-established and growing property business based in the heart of the West End seeking an Assistant Accountant to join their finance team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative and high-performing team of 12 within a fast-paced, commercially focused environment.
Your new role involves reporting into the Finance Manager and playing a key role in supporting the day-to-day financial operations across a diverse property portfolio. This is a hands-on role offering exposure to month-end processes, reporting, and stakeholder interaction.
- Assist with the preparation of monthly management accounts
- Perform balance sheet reconciliations and investigate variances
- Support accounts payable and receivable processes where required
- Assist with accruals, prepayments, and journal postings
- Maintain accurate financial records across multiple entities
- Support budgeting and forecasting processes
- Liaise with property managers and internal stakeholders on financial queries
- Assist with year-end audit preparation
What you'll need to succeed:
- Part-qualified (ACCA/CIMA) or studying towards a qualification
- Previous experience within an Assistant Accountant or similar role
- Prior exposure to the property sector highly advantageous
- Experience using Yardi
