Your new company An established environmental consultancy is seeking an Arboricultural Consultant to join its growing team.

The business provides expert ecology, arboriculture and biodiversity services to a diverse client base, including developers, planning consultants, architects, landowners, infrastructure providers and public sector organisations.

Your new role You will be responsible for delivering a range of arboricultural services across development, planning and infrastructure projects.

Working closely with ecologists, planners and external stakeholders, you will provide technical advice, undertake site surveys and prepare reports to support planning applications and project delivery.

Key responsibilities will include: Undertaking tree surveys in accordance with BS5837.

Preparing Arboricultural Impact Assessments (AIA).

Producing Arboricultural Method Statements (AMS).

Creating Tree Protection Plans (TPP).

Delivering tree risk assessments and management recommendations.

Providing technical arboricultural advice to clients and project teams.

Assisting with project management and client liaison.

Supporting business development and helping to maintain strong client relationships.

Ensuring all work is delivered to a high technical standard and within agreed timescales.

What you'll need to succeed Level 3 Arboricultural qualification (or higher).

Experience undertaking arboricultural surveys and producing technical reports.

Strong understanding of BS5837 and relevant arboricultural legislation and guidance.

Associate or Professional Membership of the Arboricultural Association (or working towards membership) would be highly desirable.

Excellent report writing and communication skills.

Ability to manage your own workload and work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Full UK driving licence.
