Our key client is looking for a 1x ITAM Architect 1x (Hardware Asset Management) HAM Architect - 6 months+ contracts - Remote working Job Title IT Asset Management (ITAM) Architect Role Purpose The ITAM Architect is responsible for defining, designing, and governing the enterprise IT Asset Management strategy, architecture, processes, and tooling.
The role ensures effective management of hardware, software, cloud, and digital assets throughout their lifecycle while supporting compliance, cost optimisation, operational efficiency, and business transformation initiatives.
The ITAM Architect serves as the technical authority for ITAM solutions and works closely with Infrastructure, Security, Procurement, Finance, Service Management, and Technology teams to establish a sustainable and scalable asset management capability.
The role commonly includes responsibility for Service Now HAM Pro, SAM Pro, CMDB integrations, discovery tooling, and governance frameworks.
Key Responsibilities Strategy Architecture Define and maintain the enterprise ITAM architecture and roadmap.
Develop target operating models for Hardware Asset Management (HAM), Software Asset Management (SAM), and Cloud Asset Management.
Create solution blueprints, standards, design principles, and technical documentation.
