This is a newly created position that will play a key role in supporting both local leadership and wider group reporting requirements, offering excellent exposure to senior stakeholders and the opportunity to influence business performance.

Your new role
Reporting directly to the Finance Director, you will act as a key business partner to both finance and operational teams, providing high-quality financial analysis, planning and reporting to support strategic decision-making.This is a varied role combining financial planning & analysis, business partnering and group reporting responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the annual budgeting, forecasting and medium-term planning processes
  • Support the development of the organisation's long-term strategic plans
  • Produce and analyse regular financial and operational reporting
  • Deliver monthly, quarterly and annual reporting packs to Group within strict deadlines
  • Prepare financial analysis, commentary and presentations for senior leadership and board meetings
  • Support investment appraisal activities, including preparation of business cases and supporting documentation
  • Monitor and report key financial and operational KPIs across the business
  • Produce monthly performance review information for Group reporting requirements
  • Reconcile and analyse commercial income streams to ensure targets are achieved
  • Work closely with operational stakeholders to provide insight and challenge performance
  • Assist with internal controls, governance and compliance activities
  • Develop reporting and business intelligence capabilities to improve visibility and decision-making
  • Support ad hoc projects, process improvements and strategic initiatives as the business continues to evolve

What You'll Need to Succeed

  • ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified (or finalist with relevant experience)
  • Previous experience within FP&A, commercial finance, finance business partnering or management accounting
  • Strong budgeting, forecasting and financial modelling skills
  • Excellent analytical ability with the confidence to challenge and influence stakeholders
  • Advanced Excel and reporting skills
  • Ability to communicate financial information to non-finance colleagues
  • Proactive, commercially minded and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience within a multi-site, group or corporate reporting environment would be advantageous
