Hays Education are currently looking for passionate and experienced SEN Teaching Assistants to support children across a range of mainstream primary schools in the Bushbury, Oxley and Pendeford areas of Wolverhampton.
We are keen to hear from Teaching Assistants who have experience supporting children with a variety of additional needs and are confident working either on a 1:1 basis, within small intervention groups, or supporting pupils within the classroom environment.
Experience supporting children with:
- Autism (ASC)
- SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs)
- Challenging behaviour
- Complex learning needs
- Physical disabilities
- ADHD
- Speech and Language needs
- Personal care requirements
We are looking for candidates who:
- Have previous experience working with children with additional needs
- Are patient, nurturing and resilient
- Can build positive relationships with pupils and staff
- Are confident adapting learning activities and providing tailored support
- Are happy supporting children with personal care where required
- Can work independently and as part of a wider school team
