Hays Education are working in partnership with a well-established SEN Hub in Wolverhampton that is looking to recruit dedicated and resilient SEN Teaching Assistants to support pupils with a range of complex learning needs and challenging behaviour.

The Role
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will
- Provide tailored support to pupils with complex special educational needs.
- Support children with ASD, ADHD, SEMH and other additional learning needs.
- Manage and de-escalate challenging behaviour using positive behaviour management strategies.
- Work closely with teachers and other professionals to implement individual support plans.
- Help create a safe, nurturing and inclusive learning environment.
- Support pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups.
What We're Looking For
The successful candidate will have
- Previous experience working as an SEN Teaching Assistant or Support Worker.
- Experience supporting children with complex needs and behavioural difficulties.
- A calm, patient and resilient approach.
- Strong behaviour management skills.
- The ability to build positive and trusting relationships with pupils.
- A genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs.
