This is an exciting opportunity for a driven and motivated individual to start their career in finance. Full training and study support will be offered to a candidate that demonstrates a strong work ethic, a willingness to learn and a desire to have an opportunity to kick-start their career!

Your new role: Reporting to the Transactional Finance Manager and working as part of a small, friendly finance team, you will focus on credit control and accounts receivable duties. These will include:

  • Calling customers to discuss and chase overdue invoices and outstanding payments
  • Resolving invoice related queries
  • Building strong business relationships with both colleagues and customers
  • Accurately allocating customer payments to the correct accounts
  • Reconciling customer accounts
  • Preparing and sending customer statements
  • Assisting with the customer invoicing process
  • Creating credit notes
  • Supporting aged debt and cash flow reporting
  • Assisting with month-end processes

What you'll need to succeed: This is an entry-level role, therefore full training will be provided. It is essential that you have excellent communication skills and a confident telephone manner, as you will spend a good proportion of your time on the telephone. You will also enjoy working with numbers, have strong attention to detail and be looking to start your career within a finance department. This role is fully office-based. The offices are near to Woking, Surrey, so you will need to live locally and have your own transport.
