Your new role
Working closely with the Sales Manager and external sales team, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of sales administration activities.
Responsibilities will include
- Processing customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Providing administrative support to the external sales team.
- Acting as a first point of contact for customer enquiries via telephone and email.
- Providing pricing information and assisting with order management.
- Conducting outbound calls to existing and prospective customers.
- Following up on sales enquiries and marketing campaigns.
- Maintaining accurate customer, product and pricing information.
- Coordinating delivery updates and resolving customer service queries.
- Supporting invoicing, credit notes and payment enquiries alongside internal teams.
- Analysing customer activity and identifying opportunities to encourage repeat business.
- What you'll need to succeed
- Previous experience within a sales administration, customer service or sales support role.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.
- Ability to work effectively within a fast-paced environment.
- Experience of CRM or ERP systems would be advantageous.
- Experience within a B2B environment would be beneficial but is not essential.
