A secondary school in Robertsbridge is seeking a Teacher of Maths to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced teacher or ECT looking to work in a supportive environment where high-quality teaching and student progress are a priority.
The successful candidate will teach Maths across Key Stages 3 and 4, delivering engaging lessons that challenge students and support strong academic progress. The Role:
As a Teacher of Mathematics, you will:
- Deliver engaging and challenging Maths lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (with potential Key Stage 5 opportunities).
- Plan, prepare, and assess engaging and effective lessons.
- Support and challenge students of all abilities to achieve their potential.
- Monitor progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Work closely with colleagues to develop and share best practice.
- Contribute to curriculum development within the department.
- Participate in the wider life of the school where appropriate. The
Ideal Candidate
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- A degree in Mathematics or a related subject.
- Strong subject knowledge and a genuine passion for teaching Maths.
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
- The ability to build positive relationships with students and staff.
- A commitment to maintaining high academic standards.
- A proactive and collaborative approach to teaching and learning.
