What You'll Be Doing
You will play a key role in delivering engaging English lessons that challenge, motivate and inspire students across Key Stages 3 and 4.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Planning and delivering high-quality English lessons
- Helping students develop confidence in reading, writing and communication
- Creating an inclusive and positive classroom environment
- Assessing and monitoring student progress
- Supporting students of varying abilities and backgrounds
- Working collaboratively with colleagues to share ideas and best practice
- Playing an active role within the wider school community
What We're Looking ForThe successful candidate will:
- Hold QTS or equivalent teaching qualification
- Have experience teaching English in a secondary school setting
- Be passionate about education and student success
- Demonstrate excellent classroom management skills
- Have strong communication and organisational abilities
- Be committed to delivering engaging and inspiring lessons
- Bring positivity, resilience and enthusiasm to the role
