We can offer flexible supply work to fit around your availability, with opportunities in both specialist and mainstream settings throughout the academic year.
Your new role
As a SEND Supply Teacher, you will play a key role in supporting pupils with a range of additional needs, helping them to engage with learning and achieve positive outcomes. Assignments may vary from day-to-day and short-term cover to longer-term placements. You may be supporting pupils with:
- Autism (ASC)
- SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs)
- Moderate and severe learning difficulties
- Communication and language needs
- Complex additional needs
What you'll need to succeed
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification
- Experience teaching children or young people with SEND is desirable
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- A flexible and adaptable approach
- A genuine passion for supporting pupils with additional needs
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
