Hays Education is working with a welcoming primary school in Stratford-upon-Avon that is looking to appoint a confident and enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join their team.
This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact across the school, supporting pupils' learning and leading lessons when required.
As a HLTA, you will
- Support teaching and learning across the primary age range.
- Deliver planned lessons in the absence of the class teacher.
- Work with small groups and individual pupils to raise attainment.
- Support pupils with additional needs where required.
- Assist with planning, preparation and assessment activities.
- Help create a positive, engaging and inclusive learning environment.
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience working within a primary school setting.
- HLTA status or equivalent relevant experience.
- Strong classroom management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A flexible and proactive approach to supporting pupils and staff.
- A genuine passion for helping children achieve their full potential.
